  1. A buddy of mine bought a bunch of moving blankets off ebay and hung them all around his practice area. I believe he found a way to install a bunch of brass eyelets in the blankets and then hung them using heavy-duty hooks. I know it was a pain to put in the eyelets because he bitched about it for weeks afterward. You have to punch out the proper-sized hole in the blanket first, then you place the eyelet halves and swage them with a special tool. A lot of work, but once they're in, they ain't goin' anywhere.

  2. i tell ya what...all you haters out there ought to post up pics of whoever it is that you're fucking. i'm betting that christina is a step or two closer to being a barbie than your old lady is.

Dude, is she your mom or something? It's just the internet dude. Unclench your buttocks.

  3. Glad it worked out. Does the shorter scale bother you at all? How is the neck?

Actually, I'm more of a Gibson guy anyway so I don't mind the short scale at all. Hell, with my stubby little fingers they can't make one too short for me!

Now that you mention it, I didn't notice the neck profile at all. That usually means it's a little on the thin side (my preference). I tend to get annoyed by fat baseball bat necks and that didn't happen with this axe. Next time i play it I'll try to pay more attention to the neck and report back...

  4. I got one from Overstock.com. Mine intonated okay, but just barely. I've got about a half turn left on the G string saddle and not much more than that on the B. Other than the bridge placement "almost problem" I actually like it a lot. It weighs next to nothing but resonates really well. The pickups sound pretty good too. I paid $199 for it and that's about what it's worth IMO...I wouldn't pay more than that.

Sure if you don't care about the quality of the audio.

Big difference between "caring about" and "needing" or "being able to afford." Not everyone needs audio performance to be at "X" level. Or perhaps he can't afford the sound card upgrade right now. If he's just recording guitar clips for his buddies, he can definitely get by with an attenuation device of some sort. His clipping will go away.

That said, I think this forum is geared toward pro/project studios so most of the people in here wouldn't accept the sound quality of a Soundblaster. Personally, I like my Echo Layla but even that wouldn't be good enough for a lot of the posters here.
