TUBE, I wouldn't give up just yet. It can't be that easy for her to pull this off. She chose for joint custody. It seems to me that a job in the present day air-force will almost certainly disrupt that custody.
Of course, I'm not an expert on the American judicial system, but any respectful judge will see that a verdict in favor of her would be unfavorable to you and disruptive with regard to your children's stability, upbringing and education. Certainly in these times.
I certainly don't think this would be a lost cause for you.
