Do you think every guitarist should know how to fingerpick? I've been playing for 2 years and I can't do it. My playing's all plectrum. I mostly play pop-punk and metal so none of the songs I play require any fingerpicking but do you think that it's a skill every guitar player should have.The only reason I can think of for me to have to know how is the fact that the douche bag who owns the nearest music store will only let people test guitars with their fingers.
