Happy new guitar day. Having read the label inside your guitar, it would be unfair to guess that it is a Skylark Guitar Ltd electro-acoustic guitar. Although with my luck, I'm probably guessing wrong.

The one on the left is a Martin D18 with serial number 461877 (puts it in 1986). My grandfather bought this for himself (no one knows how since they were poorer than dirt). When he died in 94, it came to me as the only grandkid even remotely interested in guitars. It sat under my bed for 14 years until I suddenly became obsessed last March. The one on the right is a Custom from J.W. Gallagher and Sons serial number 3416. Bought it 3 months ago. It is almost exactly the same size as a Martin 000-16 but sounds completely different. All solid wood, red spruce top, flamed mahogony back and sides, ebony fret board,... Saved for a couple years and this January, Xmas gifts got me over the top. Play for a couple hours a day now. I play the Gallagher a bit more often but switch a lot between them.
