    Exactly, v neck profile, no back cover, specially wound pickups, all to EJ's specs. Personally I love these guitars and I'd like to have this one even though I have 4 other strats. It's a disease.

    Yup, that answers my questions, and all perfectly logical, neck feel is definitely a personal preference. Sounds like you're set on a Ric.

    I have other Fenders, including CS strats but I'm curious, why would you trade the EJ strat for other Fenders? What is it about it you don't like?

    Nice, I've played an RD standard but never one of these with the Moog active preamp.
