The Eclipse has more of a traditional look than the EC series, but either can be had with passive pickups - either a JB/59 set or Duncan Alnico II Pros. Extra jumbo frets, excellent craftsmanship.

I have owned both. I like the MIMs better because I hate the two point trem on MIAs. There are queens and dogs with both. The pickups are better on MIAs, and the neck has more attention given to them.

I do not get the Clapton dislike. Most people react against other people's opinion of him, not what he has presented himself as. He has tried things, some good, some not.

At the end of the day, Clapton is a great blues player. Nothing more or less.

If they did pull the "it was stolen" it's not like you have electronic evidence of prior contact.

That's why I play LTD's EC series. I just can't get used to Gibsons (the feel or the price), and the EC series is like a perfect mix between the body of an LP and the neck of a Strat.

It's not 100% fake. The case looks real.

Love LLB. They are tight. Henry is an awesome player, very tasteful, and doesn't just whack off for the heck of it.

What I have found, and it may or may not be the case here, is that when someone with a good rep has something like this happen there are circumstances that have intervened.
