  2. TRADED 2000 Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Power Telecaster. This is the three TexMex pickup version with the Fishman Piezo acoustic pickup. Sunburst with the rosewood fingerboard. Full description here: http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0135000303 For a nine year old guitar it's in very nice condition with only two dings worth mentioning (I had to use some harsh lightning to make these show up, they aren't as bad as it seems!). One is at the very edge of the fretboard between the 3rd and 4th frets. It's just at the edge and does not fall under the 6th string, it doesn't affect playing unless you like rolling the string over the edge of the neck!. The other is at the upper waist edge. The black edging of the sunburst hides it pretty well from a couple of feet away. The neck and frets are in excellent condition. Pix of mine here: http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg46/teletypist/Fender%20Deluxe%20Series%20Nashville%20Power%20Tele/ Overall I think it's a very nice guitar that gives you some additional sonic options, plus splitting the Piezo and TexMex pups to drive two separate amps or tracks is pretty neat. BTW: it definitely does not sound like a Strat, and in my opinion not like an acoustic - it's just "different" But it duplicates several other guitars I have, so looking for a possible trade. Mostly interested hollow, semi-hollow and acoustics; but will consider others, and Genz-Benz gear - just drop me a PM. ADDED:
  3. Got this into the wrong category, will continue the thread in Bass Instruments.
  4. ON HOLD Beautiful Ibanez BTB 406QM 6 string bass. Excellent condition, plays and sounds great. Prefer to trade for a 5-string bass, but will consider other basses or guitars, perhaps a head. Specs for the bass can be found here: http://www.zzounds.com/item--IBABTB406QMTK Pictures of mine are here: http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/g...SR406N%202000/ BTW: Any imperfections you see in the pictures are just flash artifacts. The bass is super-clean! Comes with the Ibanez hard case (a bit worn, but fully functional).

  6. Amazed that it's still here. Not only a very decent jazz box, it makes for a good "Nashville" rockabilly axe ( I would recomm a pup replacement with GFS Retrotrons - just really cool).
  7. Bump for a nice cab! (BTW: Tampa is West of Cleveland )
  8. cool guitar, dont think i would be into the speedloader , what are you looking to get for it The advantage of the SpeedLoader is that the tuning is more stable, and string changes are a snap (you can replace a broken string in 30 seconds - try that with a regular FR ). Mostly looking for semi-hollow and acoustic guitars, or tube amps.
  9. Have this up for trades: Warlock w/ OFR Speedloader? http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg46/teletypist/BC%20Rich%20Warlock%20FR/
  10. TRADED Need to thin out the solid body electric herd, looking to trade for for semi-hollow, hollow, or acoustics. Tube amps are also a possibility. EMG-HG neck and upgraded Duncan Invader bridge pups. Pretty nice overall condition, no major dings or bruises and just a little oxidation. Clean neck plays well, the FR is set up for D-Standard tuning with 10's right now. Specs: * Basswood body * Bolt-on maple neck * 25-1/2" scale * Rosewood fingerboard * Locking nut * 43mm neck width * Extra thin flat neck * 24 XJ frets * Black nickel hardware * ESP tuners * Double-Locking Licensed Floyd Rose Some pix here: http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg46/teletypist/ESP%20KH-202/
  11. I think I got all the replies. Amps: G-B only, except I had a chance to try out a Traynor YCS90 this weekend and liked it a lot. NOFX: I don't mean the band. Guits: Between the kid and me - still a lot of leeway. Trad on my end - he's on his own.
  12. Hey guys: I had one of these. For the money: it's a bargain! Real nice player, well balanced tone, and it ain't ugly. BTW: I don't know the seller, just the guitar.
  13. Another BumP! If you think a Gretsch has "That" tone: this does it at 1/3 the bux, and 3/1 the build quality!
  14. Still looking On the amp (bass and guitar) side: I'm pretty much a Genz-Benz only guy.
  15. A different take: I had this happen with two of my kids. The first: the "teacher" refused to let her join the band because "a guitar doesn't belong in a Jazz band". This was so ignorant that at the next meeting of the school board he was relieved of his job. The second (several years later) was the same - only an upright was an appropriate bass in a Jazz band. Since it's 2 mile walk to school, I told that moron he would be responsible for picking up and returning the bass each day. His response was that we could leave it at the school - I told him in that case he could buy it. His contract was not renewed. This works well with the school board as well as the PTA: the band is there for the benefit of the students. In to many cases the ego of a wanna-be-but couldn't-do-it gets in the way of this. They do not belong in an educational environment. It's not that hard to get rid of them.
  16. Hey Guys: (I mean the regulars) Why are you promulgating this Troll {censored}e? Effem, move on.
