  1. Would it be possible to analyze one sound recorded on a computer, and an identical sound recorded on a reel-to-reel device explain what makes the analogue sound "warmer" than the digital? Just to be specific about what I mean by "warm" here I would cite "Have I told you lately" and other songs by Van Morrison, or pretty much anything by Aretha Franklin. One thing I don't get, is that even when I've encoded these songs at 128 kbps they still retain their fullness, warmth and saturation. As if it is an innate and resilient sound quality, captured at the moment of recording. As has been discussed here many times; "full" "warm" are subjective terms. Is it possible to define these terms with science or math?
