Would it be a decent idea to hook a DIGIMAX LT into the Fireface 400? You'd have to run everything at 48k huh?

What about the Presonus Digimax LT? That things seems much better than the Firestudio.

Who says there isn't hum or feedback on albums? Most albums I listen to have guitar feedback or hums or swells in them. None have filters, gates, or DIed the guitar. If there is no hums, it's because the guitars were done in many takes and all the noise is removed. Very easy to chop off the noise at the end of a cut if you don't want it.
