I never listened to Stryper when I was in high school but I am very thankful for the genre they created. I think because of Stryper there are bands like Skillet, Pillar, POD and even a band not as "heavy" like The Newsboys.

Epi's are the worst headstocks but i love tele headstocks :S
I wish that Gibson would just use the same headstock on Epiphones that they do on Gibson gear.

Im seriously gassing for an 80s superstrat, All i have now is one of the fattest neck LP's ever made and i really miss getting all noodly and doing divebombs with a floyd. I have been looking at the new offerings from charvel that are MIJ, i like the san dimas mod 1 H-H. At first glance, it seems like a pretty good value, OFR, duncans, and i hear the necks are pretty nice. are they raw/oiled? Any scalloping?:love:the candy blueWhat can you guys tell me about them? are they as nice as they seem? I was on the warmoth site trying to build a similar guitar, but it would honestly end up costing a tad more with the relatively similar specs.
Keith, I happened upon these 2 websites a few weeks ago; www.exit98guitars.com and www.meanstreetguitars.com and they have some really awesome superstrats for decent money.

Chambered Gibson Les Pauls

I play a 2007 Les Paul Classic Antique and the thing that really sold me on it when trying different Pauls was the weight. I've got a bad rib which affects the nerves in my left shoulder and a really heavy Les Paul is not something I can do these days. The Classic Antique is probably about 7.5 lbs and very comfy when I'm playing it. As far as sound I don't hear anything but classic Les Paul crunch and sustain.
