Not ripping on your dog, boxers are my absolute favorite dog on the planet, and my favorite individual dog that ever lived is a boxer, but unless you fed your dog gunpowder as a pup, or beat or tortured him or something, and if he is a typical boxer, then he is the very defenition of all bark and no bite. Otis is an Awesome looking dog. Yeah, but his bark sounds pretty mean, and most thief types just don't want to take the chance. I've been out walking Otis and people have crossed the street to stay away from us. And others ask if he's a pit bull. A survey group recently asked prisoners in some state prison what is the top thing that would stop them from breaking into a house. Something like 96 percent said the presence of a dog, any dog, would keep them from breaking into a house.

All this talk makes me want to do a good inventory of my stuff and lock the list up someplace. However, if someone breaks into my house, he'll have to deal with the 85-pound Otis:

Feeler spam: This is an Eastwood Delta 6 resonator guitar, almost brand new. I hate to get rid of it, but I've got another guitar incoming. I'd like to get $240 shipped and Paypaled, but I'm open to offers. This was sold as B stock, directly from Eastwood, but the only things I can find wrong with it is that there's a tiny hole in the sound hole on the upper horn and the P90 pickup fits a bit loosely in the pickup hole. Otherwise, it's in great shape.

That price on the Peavey is hard to beat, but once I changed a bad preamp tube on my new Bugera v5, it's really quite nice. Headphone out and attenuator that goes down to 0.1 watt were major selling points for me.

Play what you want and do it enthusiastically. A 25-year-old playing a guitar that was designed in the '50s, decades before he was born, doesn't look silly, so why should a 40-year-old playing a pointy guitar?
