Gemini releases V-Case Music Management Software for Media Players

    Elizabeth, NJ – June 1st, 2016

Gemini, an esteemed manufacturer of DJ and Pro Audio equipment, is pleased to announce the release of their V-Case Music Management Software.

The MDJ-1000 is a powerful media player, and is capable of stand-along song analysis, but our users made it clear that an offline song analysis tool was needed. So we developed the V-Case software to not only satisfy that need, but to also serve as a future platform for deep track preparation and library management.

Our eventual goal is to not only support all of the Gemini Media Players, but to give our users every tool they need to manage their library – from creating cue points and beat grid manipulation to smart playlists and watch folders.  We have a lot of plans for V-Case, and can’t wait to roll out new updates!

To enhance the user experience with V-Case, we have also created a series of videos that explain all of the major workflows in the software.  These videos will be available on YouTube, as well as the V-Case product page.

Since 1974, Gemini has designed products that offer value and innovation in the DJ and Pro Audio markets. Today, their portfolio continues to develop in scope and diversity, providing gear for DJs, musicians, engineers, professional installers and general music enthusiasts around the globe. From media players and digital controllers, to high-quality mixers and loudspeakers, Gemini has built a legacy with passion for innovation and devotion to their customers.

What is really needed in the DJ world is a translation program, -similar to AAtranslator- that creates the opportunity for DJs who have done the extensive preparation of their tracks, sorting beatgrids, start/end and loop points, together with genre, style, mood, etc classification and even the playlists! ...that converter will then allow DJs to be able to use that work in different platforms, say Traktor, DVS/Serato, Mixxx, Virtual DJ, The ONE DJ,  Mixvibes and now Rekordbox (from Pioneer) which by being the Club standard and so installed as de fcto almost everywhere, could then be used as a backup, just plug your converted pendrive and fix the situation that could arise with your unique, creative own gear set up.
