Slowhand Personal Video Tutor
Now Vimeo-Compatible
Revolutionary video learning tool for musicians
expands on-line content access
December 10th, 2015, Grants Pass, OR: MasterMind Design, creators of Slowhand Personal Video Tutor software---the musician's tool for turning any video performance into a music lesson---today announced the release of version 2.0, a free upgrade that expands the program's on-line video outreach to include Vimeo content. Slowhand PVT greatly enhances the video learning experience by allowing users to zoom in on the material they wish to learn, loop it, and slow down video and audio playback to a comfortable learning speed without changing the pitch of the audio.
"The inclusion of Vimeo in the already impressive bank of video resources that Slowhand draws from, such as YouTube and DVD, is the next step in our goal of giving our users access to the widest assortment of professionally produced content possible," noted Bob DeKett, founder and president of MasterMind Design, and the man behind Slowhand PVT. "You simply copy a Vimeo URL into the built-in Slowhand download tool, and the program takes care of the rest."
In addition to adding Vimeo compatibility, the 2.0 release also includes the latest Windows 10 compatibility upgrade, as well as several feature enhancements and minor fixes. The option to upgrade to V. 2.0 appears automatically when Slowhand is launched; installation is as simple as following the onscreen prompts.
Early Slowhand PVT adopters are raving:
"I play with a lot of bands, and I've always got songs to learn. Slowhand is an invaluable tool for both the student and working musician. You owe it to yourself to check it out." -
D. Waller
"This is THE coolest music learning tool I've ever used. Slow down any video you want, stay in pitch and sync with audio, zoom, create loops, projects, and save. I love it!"
-M. Smith
Slowhand PVT is available for download as a time-limited free trial or as a one-time purchase for $49.99 at www.slowhand.com. The site also features free downloadable lesson "Projects" so users can immediately take advantage of Slowhand's "SLOW IT DOWN - LEARN IT FAST™" capabilities.
