    DANLEY INTRODUCES PURPOSE-BUILT, CINEMA-READY MULTI-CHANNEL AMPLIFIERS

WITH INTEGRATED DSP AND PRESETS TO POWER ITS NEW CINEMA LINE OF LOUDSPEAKERS

GAINESVILLE, GEORGIA – JUNE 2019: Although they have long been used in one-off cinema applications, the patented loudspeaker and subwoofer technologies developed by unconventional acoustician Tom Danley are now available in the new Danley Cinema Line, with ideal form factors, rigging points, and output patterns for cinema-specific applications. In support of the Cinema Line, Danley Sound Labs is proud to introduce the Danley 10K8c and 3K8c amplifiers. Both models are two rack units and provide: eight independent inputs and eight independent amplifier channels (though any pair of channels can be bridged), comprehensive 96kHz digital processing, awesome presets for every Cinema Line loudspeaker and subwoofer, and robust loudspeaker and circuit protection. The principal difference between them is that the Danley 10K8c delivers 1250 Watts per channel, whereas the Danley 3K8c delivers 400 Watts per channel (2, 4, or 8 Ohms or 70V for both units). All Danley amplifiers are engineered and manufactured in the United Kingdom.

“The Danley 10K8c and 3K8c are true next-generation amplifiers that deliver high-impact, crystal-clear sound for mind-blowing cinematic experiences,” said Skip Welch, national accounts manager, Cinema Systems at Danley Sound Labs. “At the same time, they have all of the behind-the-scenes protections, connectivity, and class-D energy efficiency that make them a big win with integrators. Unlike the Danley DNA 10K8 Pro and 3K8 Pro, which are four-in by eight-output amplifiers, the Cinema Line DNA 10K8c and 3K8c are eight-in by eight-out.” Power-saving features result in significant reductions in waste heat generation. System integration with Ethernet or GPIO ports allows remote system monitoring and power sequencing. Phoenix-style input and GPIO terminals make installation straightforward. Analog and optional Dante™ digital networked audio inputs can make installation even simpler when working with AES67 or Dante™-enabled output devices.
