    Korg Introduces New Additions To microKEY series; microKEY 2 and microKEY Air

    Melville, NY - - November 13, 2015 - -The uncomplicated, straightforward design, compact size and easy connectivity made the first-generation microKEY series a bestseller for Korg. Now, Korg introduces the second-generation microKEY, which keeps the simple, compact design with easy USB powered connectivity, but adds a damper pedal jack and iOS compatibility for improved playability. The microKEY Air gives users all the control with no wires, battery powered, and Bluetooth connectivity. The brand new microKEY Air series supports Apple's Bluetooth Smart Low-Energy MIDI technology to connect wirelessly with a Mac, iPad or iPhone.

     

    The microKEY 2 is available in 25, 37, 49 and 61 key models and the microKey Air is available in 25, 27, 49 and 61 key models. The microKEY Air can run wirelessly for about 30 hours on two AA batteries. Users can connect wirelessly to iPad/iPhone music apps such as Korg Gadget, Korg Module, and GarageBand, as well as any MIDI-capable music production software on a Mac. Both the microKEY 2 and microKEY Air series come with Korg Kontrol Editor software for editing its preferences.
