The main difference: It is available at a very affordable price! Jim Worland has focused his 20 years of lutherie experience to create a truly great guitar that exceeds the musical expectations of the most discerning musician. The Prairie is affordable for the vast majority of guitarists.

Jim says: “The Prairie represents the numerous customer requests to handcraft an instrument that is aesthetically simple but still offers all of the tonal character and playability of my high end custom acoustics. This guitar simply places the design emphasis on creating the ultimate in tone and ease of play; while offering a simple but classic style that allows me to offer this product at half of what you would expect to pay for a custom instrument.”

The Prairie is based on the versatile OM size and is available with either a cedar or spruce top and mahogany back and sides.  Another great benefit is that the new Prairie is kept in inventory for immediate delivery directly from Worland Guitars. The introductory price for the Prairie is only $1950 and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Options are limited to cedar or spruce top, pickup, pick guard, and strap buttons.
