Nashville, TN, October 4, 2016 – Epiphone proudly presents the new Ltd. Ed. Joe Bonamassa "Treasure" Firebird-I, the fourth Joe Bonamassa signature model in Epiphone’s long partnership with the critically acclaimed blues master.  It features the ProBucker™ FB720, a one-of-a-kind faithful recreation of the original early 60s Firebird pickup, as well as Kluson®’s superb re-issue of the original Firebird/Banjo style tuners!

The new Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Joe Bonamassa "Treasure" Firebird-I is closely modeled after Bonamassa’s rare 1963 Gibson Firebird.  Bonamassa worked closely with Epiphone’s luthiers in Nashville, Tennessee to recreate the sound and feel of his one-of-a-kind original.

“The guitar is called Treasure as it’s based on the ‘63 Firebird that was graciously gifted to me four years ago,” said Bonamassa. “The Epi's play and sound better than the originals and they’re more in tune! I’m very impressed with the whole package.”

The “Treasure” Firebird-I is available in two color finishes, Polymist Gold and Tobacco Sunburst, and each guitar comes with a Hand-Signed Certificate of Authenticity signed by Bonamassa.
