GIBSON’S MEMPHIS DIVISION RELOCATING TO A NEARBY MEMPHIS LOCATION

Gibson’s Memphis based Guitar Manufacturing Division will move to achieve improved efficiencies with a build to suit new factory nearby

Memphis, Tennessee (October 20, 2017) -- Gibson Brands, Inc., who led the development of downtown Memphis with the opening of its Beale Street location over 16 years ago, is moving to a new state of the art factory in the greater Memphis area. 

Gibson’s Memphis division is growing and achieving record profitability and sales levels.  A new facility will allow the company to improve the product quality, increase production capacity and potentially increase employment in the area. Gibson is seeking a buyer for the current location that will allow it to continue to operate in this location while building and leasing an appropriate facility in proximity to the current factory location.
