    By HC News |

August 14, 2013 -- Los Angeles, California. Art Vista Productions today announced release of a new electric bass sample plug-in series, GrooveMaster, featuring Antonio “Tony” Newton, the legendary "Baby" Funk Brother whose career spanned from the early days of the electric bass - with John Lee Hooker and Little Walter, and as staff bass player at Motown alongside James Jamerson, through his later fusion work with Tony Williams Lifetime.  The series includes three playable sampled bass instruments: Old School BassDouble Neck Bass, and Bright Funky Bass. The instruments include intuitive “intelligent” playback features that are designed to automatically emulate the playback of a real bass player when played from a midi keyboard. These virtual bass instruments can be switched from fully automatic intelligent playback to complete, or, partial key-switch control.

The instrument comes in Kontakt 5 Player format, which supports all major plug-in formats and also allows use as a stand-alone application.

Each of GrooveMaster’s three sampled instruments, Old School BassDouble Neck Bass, and Bright Funky Bass is available for download and has an MSRP of US$99.00.  A bundle of GrooveMaster’s three sampled instruments is offered for $199.00.

Art Vista Productions is known for the Art Vista Virtual Grand Piano 2, which emulates the sounds of famous piano recordings of all genres from the 1950’s up until today, Art Vista Back Beat Bass, a new virtual upright bass, and MalmsjöAcoustic Grand, heard on film scores throughout the world.  Art Vista also produces Cool Vibes, the only sampled instrument to truthfully capture a vibraphone with the motor engaged.
