Members Bubbluz
As I stated in that thread, most of my listening is in full album format. Am I the only one who thinks new cd's, generally, are too long ? They hold over an hour of music, and unfortunately, most bands don't have enough solid material for a 40 min. LP let alone a 70 min. cd. They promote filler and disinterest to the listener, and all because of a format switch Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. :blah:
Members photon9
I haven't found that actually. Most still seem to be around 40 min. A lot of groups are adding extras like videos and such if you throw them onto your computer.
Members Bubbluz
hmmm..maybe they are coming around to my way of thinking then. It seemed to me when I first started buying cds they were all around the 1 hour mark.Maybe that's changed, maybe it more about the artists and genre.carry on. Members Pursuits
Yep, most of the discs I listen to are around ten tracks, so filler isn't an issue.
