Electronics Chorus / Flanger / Pitch modulator, pricey at $300 bucks, but worth it to me, also the Red Witch Empress Chorus is a good one, also about $300 bucks. I've seen the video demos from Pro Guitar on the Red Witch Empress. Very impressive albeit very pricey. I actually liked the sound and features of the Retro Sonic pedal better than the Red Witch. Posted March 10, 2009 Members Share Posted March 10, 2009 i've not found a single pedal that does all modulation really well. phase is a different type of circuit from chorus and flange, which are basically very short delays. look seriously into flangers, as they can do a good chorus sound at light settings. you may also want to check out a modulated delay for chorus and vibrato sounds. i suggest the EHX Stereo Electric Mistress and either the Small Stone or MXR Phase 90.
