Members pureanalog Posted April 4, 2009 Members Share Posted April 4, 2009 Hey folks, I purchased those pickups advertised as Fender Std Strat (USA) pickups off of ebay. The thing is that I would like to know if they are truly original fender pickups. They are supposed to be from the early 90s. They have a black baseplate with some kind of number etched on them, I think all have the same number. Two of them have a blue and a white cable and one has a red and a white one. How can I tell which pickup is for which position guys? I also notice they are not quite as staggered as my Fender Std Strat (Mexico) pickups. Is this common?
