Members woodsmandan
I see one for sale locally, I'll try to go try it this afternoon. Anyone knows the model, the year ? Is it any good ?
Members Bizze
Is it genuine?.. I've never seen a squier like that..
Members jelloman
Looks like the squier version of the mid-80's HM strat... If so it should be really good if cared for properly...those early squiers were MIJ and very good quality for the money...
Members tim gueguen
That one might be Korean. Dates from the end of the '80s or beginning of the '90s if I remember correctly. The only way to know if it's a good instrument is to go try it out.
Members woodsmandan
I'm back from trying it...Squier HM series...mid 80's to early 90's ?...made in Korea...very light weight (plywood ???)...great neck: flatter radius board and flat neck, very Ibanez feel...pickups sound decent, but i couldn't try it with heavey distortion, wich is the sound this guitar was designed for I guess...not a bad guitar at all, I think I'll buy it for the odd ball look and for my occasional metal moment... Members woodsmandan
what's the car in your avatar? it's an old '52 or '54 Ford Custom I think...the car belongs to a friend of mine in Cuba...and it's restored cuban style with a 3 speed transmission from an old russian army truck...
