I put in my Warmoth HSS strat project an array of different pickups to obtain a vast array of tones. for example my neck pickup is a rare Fender made Jimi Hendrix reverse stagger neck pickup, middle is a Texas special, bridge is a DiMarzio Evolution.I can gig with just this axe alone and have all the tones one would want.from Classic rock, to blues, to metal.
