So, how do I actually ground my LP bridge?

I was in the studio and was playing other guitars and it made me realise how noisy my les paul is. I fitted a Swineshead Warthog pickup on it which is quite a high output pickup but the guitar hums alot. When I touch the bridge or tail piece it goes away which makes me believe its the usual issue of grounding. I got my multimeter out and tested the continuity and found that all the pots, socket and pickups are earthed together, however the bridge and end piece are not grounded.

Am I correct in assuming that the bridge and end piece should be connected to ground as well? If so, how do I actually do this? Do I have to run a wire in from a back of a pot to the bridge, is there a route in the guitar for this? How do you connect a wire to the bridge?...,etc,etc....

By the way, the problem isn't with my amp, effects, interference from the TV or light dimmers, etc..

Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks
