Members wro Posted November 2, 2009 Members Share Posted November 2, 2009 I just scored a black LTD EC-256 with the JB/Jazz combo. as i dig how black open coil humbuckers look like i am thinking of removing the covers, however i am not sure which color will be inside. has anyone ever tried, does anyone know ? Members TomCray Posted November 2, 2009 Members Share Posted November 2, 2009 Its hard to tell, what you can do is unscrew one of the poles, if there isn't any wax in the way you can see what the pole coil color is.
