Members Gomez_69
Anyone listen to this recently? Steve Hunter is just killing on this album. His live album "American Poet" is also brilliant, but much less classic rock sounding. He had a rockin little band called The Tots, I think, backing him.
Members BlackCat
I haven't listened to that since maybe 1976 but both guitar players killed on that album. My favorite Lou Reed is "Berlin". Much less guitar-centric but great depressing songs.
Members BlackCat
It's kind of interesting that, for a guy who wore his addictions on his sleeve, he managed to out live many of his contemporaries.
Members Chairborne
He put out his share of drivel for sure, but when he was good he was really good. Saw him about three years ago and he was a pretentious pissant on stage who stopped the show because people at the back of the venue at the bar were talking. The nerve! Probably part of his schtick though.
