Members bktele989
I've been going back in forth on this for a month, and now I have a show at a bigger venue next month and I'm trying to get this straight. My KE-3 has some {censored}ty duncan designed invader copies, which sound "ok", but the bridge squeels like crazy when im not playing, its unbearable! It's not my amp, no other guitar does this, and I dont think its wiring because it's only the bridge pickup, no problem in the neck. So I'm wanting to get a bridge good pickup for metal only, I have other guitars for everything else. BUT, I like my high gain stuff to be really warm with lots of character, so I've not had luck with actives(Just IMO). Blackwater park is a good tonal reference for me. Must be around $70 used. Here's what Ive been considering Duncan distortionDimarzio Breed, Evolution, or d-activatorsBill Lawrence xl500 Which would you pick? or would you pick something else completely?
