so i was sitting in the bathroom drinking some Jim beam and playing guitar becuase my apartment is full of passed out people. It got me to wondering whats the weirdest place you wrote i song. so far mine is in the bathroom no pants on take shots by my lonesome

While I was working as a lifeguard at the pool I used to work at has the be the weirdest. It was 5.30 am, and I had this riff I had written at our previous jam going through my head. All of a sudden, a vocal line appeared in my head with some lyrics.

I swapped from the lifeguarding post to the front desk post and wrote out three verses, a chorus and a bridge (we worked in two's, someone watched the pool, the other manned the til at the front) there and then. I took it to our next jam and the band approved. The song hasn't changed since.

I wrote one a few months back while driving a bus. Every time I'd get to my end point I'd quick write down a couple of lines before I had to leave again. Turned out pretty good.
