Members charvel350
I have been wiring guitars for a while now (all mine) and i can do a pretty good job of it, but i never understood it all. does any one know of a good source where i can learn about guitar electronics, like resistors, capacitors, pots, the different pot values, modding, etc...? i want to understand how it all works and why certain issues happen, the math behind it and everything else that comes with it. Members Burningleaves
They may have classes in your local area. Any decent "basic" electronics book is good to have on hand. Amazon prol' has some. Lots of info on the web these days as well.

Members FXR
Find a ham radio club in your area. They usually teach free if not cheap and cost of supplies. I did it like 35 years ago and learned tube and solid state electronics which led to me going to school for it. Then I graduated with an analog electronics cert and digital hit. Members Burningleaves
so just look for basic electronics books and classes? Pretty much. They do have specif books for guitar electronics out there...for example...."Guitar electronics for musician". You should be able though to get a lot of theory regarding electronic components off the web for free.
