Members DavidMgT Posted December 31, 2009 Members Share Posted December 31, 2009 I am a huge G&L and ESP fan. I own 3 ASATs, however I've never played an ESP RW. I am sure, though, that the ESP is a great guitar.For what it is worth, I did have an ESP vintage series strat as well as an ESP Eclipse, neither was as well made as any of my G&Ls. My G&L Legacy for instance seemed to be at a whole other level in terms of build quality, hardware and playability at a similar price point as the ESP strats. The ESP was still a great guitar, just not as well made as the G&L. One thing you should consider is that if you are looking for a "tele" sound, an ASAT may not be for you.
