Members bluesguyjon
i'm close to biting the bullet and picking up a gibson LP, but from what i've played and heard i really like the sound of a non-chambered les paul over a chambered body. i was wondering what years gibson started chambering their bodies, so i make sure not to purchase one? i'm sure i'm the 2,000th person to ask this, but thanks anyway. just for fun, this is a top contender i'm looking at
Members Guitar Heel
I believe it was late 2006 for most models, but an expert will be along in due time to confirm or refute that... Of course, there are current non-chambered models as well, like the Traditional. Well, they've got the swiss cheese, but not the large chambers like you're talking about.
