Members hecticone Posted January 17, 2010 Members Share Posted January 17, 2010 Before I buy any guitar I hang it by the headstock,pluck the b string tuned to 440 and feel down by the input jack. If you can feel any type of vibration down there you have a fairly resonant guitar.An old trick taught to me by an old guitar builder years ago. If it sounds good then great,if it doesnt then adjust amp tone controls.
