Members skatalite Posted February 8, 2010 Members Share Posted February 8, 2010 My friend is looking to come up with a value for his 1999 Jimmie Vaughan Fender Strat. It's all original Olympic White w/ maple neck, nothing wrong with it, except it's got a scratch guard and missing the pup selector plastic knob. Even has the original deluxe gig bag. So, I'm looking around and am seeing more recent years, 2004 through present, sell for anywhere between $300 to $400 used. But, I'm unsure if production materials changed from the 1999 to recent models, or if an older model is more desirable for any number of reasons. Thanks for any help!
