Members myTakamine
Strat noob here... I've been setting aside $ for a Classic Player 60s strat, after playing one a few times in a local shop and getting to like it ... AND after realizing that the only ones I liked better would set me back well north of a grand. But it also seems like a mid-90s US strat goes for less these days. I can't try one out side-by-side, or for as long, so I'm looking for some thoughts to balance what would simply be a first impression: How does a mid-90s strat compare to a current-production MIM CP? Or even to a current US model?
Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted February 12, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2010 Mid 90s Strats are just fine, fender actually came up wioth quite a few stars in the late 80s and 90s. Keep your eyes open for a Strat Plus
