Members cozmickid80
My girlfriend bought me a 59 custom Airline from Eastwood for Valentines Day. It's an awesome guitar. When I grabbed a slide and started to mess around with that, there was a lot of crackling coming through the amp that isn't there when the slide isn't being used. It didn't matter when amp I used. The action is a bit lower (though I wouldn't classify it as very low) than I have on my other guitars. I was curious if the crackling can be explained by either the pickups being high or the action being low--or a combination of the two...or is there another more plausible explanation altogether.Anyway, thanks for the help!
