Members I.P. Freeley Posted February 16, 2010 Members Share Posted February 16, 2010 I'm getting a pair of Dimarzio Virtual Vintage Blues to go in the neck and mid position on my guitar. Would an Area T or Hot T be a better match? My guitar is a Tele/Strat hybrid. I'm thinking the Hot T, but wanted to get some input here. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members thecornman Posted February 16, 2010 Members Share Posted February 16, 2010 I have a set of Area T's in my Tele with a Area 61 in the middle position and I am super happy with them. Noiseless, but they still have the bite and great clean sound I want from a tele and sound super amazing with a little overdrive or a lot of distortion. Dimarzio have done a great job with their Area line of pickups at making noiseless pickups that still have a lot of the character of true single-coils.
