Members teleman55 Posted March 1, 2010 Members Share Posted March 1, 2010 Bought this 'cause I've got the AL2500 12 string which, though heavy, does the electric 12 string thing well for me, lefthanded, for not a lot of $$$. So I tried this. Needed a setup. Stock pickups were OK bit I wanted a little more. Tried a few I had here, then got some GFS Classic IIs. They were good but a little meh at home. Used it this weekend at two gigs with some good amps turned up to where they can breathe. Used it about 1/4-1/3 of the time. Started bonding with this cheap sucka. I likes it! It's lighter than the AL2500. The narrow string spacing/flatter radiius combo is a little weird at first. I like narrow spacing, but on a Fender that is 7.25 or 9.5. With a 12 or so wider seems better. But once you play it a bit it's comfortable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
