Dear Community

Some strange questions for ASAT user's

After 30+ years(with breaks) of Stratocaster only I have finally graduated to -->TELE

Was always too hard to play for me(need to be so accurate as otherwise tone differs a lot)-->now I can (relatively) master it

I have a Xavier(XV-835) and a Benford and now I want to get more serious.

One of my best guitars is A mahagoay G&L Comanche and therefore I want an ASAT.

I am from Europe so hard to try them out

To be specific I am looking either in a G&L Deluxe either the one with the

Two humbuckers

(Neck - Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1, Bridge - Seymour Duncan TB-4)-->coil split.or the one with

G&L Magnetic Field Design high output single coil pickups

Did anybody play both?

How is the TONE difference when the HB a split coil vs the SC version ?

Will the SC one ,although high output have a classical tele sound once volume is run off?

What is the biggest noticeable TONE difference between an Tribute and an USA made

Thanks for some serious answers

I don't find it does the "classic" tele sound very well at all,it is it's own animal.

I think a lot of the real tele sound comes from the string-through design and the metal bridgeplate.

The Asat Classic is a string through and has regular SC sized pups, but they are MFD as well,so still not quite the same as an actual tele.

USA G&L and Tribute model use the same pups.
