Members d_dave_c
So I got an online survey from Line 6 about which model I liked for the next generation of variax. They were all a combo of magnetic and variax and had an LP style, a modern strat style and a kinda Schecter vibe shredder style:
Members Undertaker4
Are these the Tyler Variaxes they announced earlier this year? http://www.vettaville.nl/page.php?id=141#1062

Members Marc G
don't really like the first one... 2nd one looks cool though.... I just find there are too many things to go wrong on these kind of gutiars...
Members mortkort
they seem very cool. id like to have one of those strat style models. the black one looks boss.
Members Cloudguitar
I like the headstock on that first guitar a lot better than the ones on current Strat-style Variaxes. That's pretty much all I don't like about the current models. I've been very close to pulling the trigger on one for the past couple of months. Members d_dave_c
They had some different colors on the survey, with a little different specs (e.g. 25.5" in the LP style versus 24 9/16"). The black one they had in the strat style was listed as having a 24 9/16 neck with a nut width of 1 11/16. That's the one I chose. I forgot about the Tyler thing - these might be those. I wish they'd make an offset or something that looks like an old teisco. I'd love to rock out something that looks like it should sound like {censored}, but can actually sound about like anything.
