I was under the impresion that they were pretty much both 1960 cabs bu had either an 800 or 900 lable on the back depending on what head they were sold with. And they had the 1960 lable If they were sold as just a cab. And the only difference depended on the date. Am I wrong here? Members atrox Posted May 20, 2010 Members Share Posted May 20, 2010 They are almost identical. I run two 800 cabs, and have owned a few 900's in my days. The only difference is that the 900's can run in stereo (8ohms each side or mono at 16ohms or 4ohms). the 800 cabs are mono at 8ohms.
