Is this the company?

They make a signature model for a friend of mine, Peter Stroud...I was over at his house not too long ago and played one...excellent guitars.

I was looking at some of their pictures the other day and I really like what they are doing with the patterns on the sides of some of their guitars. Similar to the look of binding with a nice twist.

Hi Jeff, did you ever get anywhere with this? I also have a custom strat copy made by the Elliott Guitar Co (with the BOLD TYPEFACE on the headstock). Gorgeous guitar, clearly designed with a wide neck so very suited to jazz-style fingering. Amazing sound. I too am trying to track down anything I can find about the company that made it.

I've just had a root around and turned out an old document that the previous owner provided with the guitar when I bought it. According to that, The Elliott Guitar Co. was based in Saltash, Cornwall. There's also a number - 075 55 2609. Bearing in mind that my guitar was made in 1987, and this was the number provided then, I don't expect it to still work! Will try it shortly and let you know how I go.

Anyone else heard of this company or have any more information?

Chris.
