Can anyone tell me why Electro Harmonix had the big muff built in russia as opposed to USA? Was it a cost cutting exercise like fender/squire, to offer a budget model? Was it because USA production ceased and demand was still high? Also what are the difference in the USA & Russian pedals, and why were the russian ones discontinued? I'm not sure of the reason behind the Russian production. The Russian ones tend to have more low end and be a little smoother (the Green ones in particular).
