so after some very good advice from fellow HCEG members i am planning a warmoth '72 thinline.... woooooo hoooo!!!! Ideally I would like to choose from the in-stock bodies and necks but the wood choices are pretty slim or shall we say "thin" in this instance, hehe. for the body it looks like swamp ash is pretty much the only choice, i was thinking mahogany would be cool but would be almost 200 bucks more. also for the neck i really want an ebony fingerboard on rosewood but with the in stock necks the only choice is maple w ebony fingerboard. opinions???

i was also thinking of either a duncan '59 in the neck and a JB in the bridge or the fender humbuckers that the fender 72 thinline comes with. looking for a versitile guitar that can do classic rock, blues and also alternative and heavier stuff.
