Members BIGD
..both acoustically and when plugged in. They are both alder bodies, mexican made. The strat has a beefed up trem block. The blacktop JM has the stock pickups, while the strat has a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 in the bridge and Duncan little 59 in the neck, there shouldn't be THAT much of a difference in output, if anything the fast track should be louder than anything on the JM But it is plain to see that the JM kicks it's butt in every way. I played a gig last night and I felt like I had to raise the volume on the amp a notch if I were to use the strat. Is the real secret the tune-o-matic style bridge on the JM?
