Members lawnchair Posted December 15, 2010 Members Share Posted December 15, 2010 Steve played an ACTUAL PROPER GIBBO though most of the Pistols' actual career -- Malcolm nicked it off Sylvain Sylvain from the New York Dolls on the pretext that he was taking it to London for Syl to front the band that was being formed for him ... Hah. Mick played Juniors during the early Clash because (a) they were creddy because Johnny Thunders played 'em and (b) they were cheaper than regular LPs. Later he played a white Custom, a 'burst, a Strat and a white ES175. Thanks for clearing that up. I knew I'd never seen a picture of him with a Burny. Also, Mick had a black custom as well. Also, don't forget James Williamson also played a Custom. Fireburst...or whatever that bright red-ish burst is called. Congrats on the axe! I've been hunting for one identical for a long time myself!
