Members Magpel
I need to get a band page up ASAP. I am using CDBaby to sell a CD and was interested in the convenience of their host service, Host Baby. They provide all the little functionality and widgets you need, and I guess otherwise it is just a standard site-builder template thing, which serves my needs fine. Is $20 ($16 if you pay for a year up front) reasonable for this? Anyone have experience with this service? My experience with CDBaby out of the gate was mostly good with one significant hiccup (they changed the title of my record after I had approved all the info, and then propagated the incorrect title forward to all their digital partners, a faux pax that is going to take months to completely set right.) I would rather not go through all the motions of coordinating a super cool site myself with designers and programmers and all the domain business. I appreciate the one-stop approach. Thoughts? Members Triny D
I've used them off and on with different artists. Good product but seems a bit pricey in this day. I think Google's blogspot platform is evolving to be a better solution for artists.
