I've been thinking about stripping the back of my Silver Dean Hardtail and applying some sort of oil finish to the back of it. I have a couple of questions for how to get started: Whats the easiest method of removing the finish? I'm going to assume sanding. Whats the easiest finish to apply one I remove the finish? I'm thinking about going with tung-oil or something similar. Are there any precautionary measures I should take? I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff so any insight or tips would be helpful!
