Would I need an R3 or an R4 nut for a les paul Studio gibson (unbound neck) with a floyd i'm not sure if the R4 would be real close to the edge of the frets or not ? I don't want to slip off the neck. Thanks What you need, is to have a nut cut for it specifically. Nuts aren't a one size fits all deal. They should be cut to preference and playing style.
