Members notjonahbutnoah
A couple weeks ago, for Memorial Day, some friends had a big cookout and party. Playing the party was local legend Danny Thompson in his Danny Thomson Trio iteration. He usually uses this Victoria 310 combo. I think it's 50 watts usually. Either way, he decided to use the Classic 30 he bought from lowbrow for this show. I noticed it was ridiculously loud, sounded great, and projected amazingly. I tried to demonstrate this by taking a little phone vid. So the signal you're hearing goes Stock Road Worn 72 Tele RI > Cable > Classic 30 > 5-400 feet of air > Phone Mic. I start filming right up close then walk all the way out front, and the tone is still there. The music gets quieter, but the difference was much less noticeable IRL. Headphones help. Here, check it: [video=youtube;dooLnCXYqjQ] That little amp is a frickin demon.
